The IPL had demanded exclusive use of the suites at the stadium, but suite-holders had refused.
Alan Kourie, the chief executive of the GCB, said: "We are happy and proud to have reached an amicable resolution with the IPL.
"It now clears the way for hosting the business end of one of the best cricketing leagues in the world.
"Gauteng cricket fans will now be able to witness some truly amazing cricketers in action at our very own Wanderers Stadium," he said.
